Although Culver City's home furnishings-happy Helms Bakery District certainly has much to offer, minimalist-minded interior design aficionados who seek a more holistic and serene shopping experience can now flock to Studio By Dark. The modern home goods and design space officially opened at on-the-rise Washington Boulevard last weekend, bringing much-needed retail therapy to the nabe's Arts District.
Landing at 700 square feet, the bohemian-cool boutique offers candles and crystals alongside ceramics, lighting, rugs, and pillows by talents both local and global. Shop owner and interior designer Vee Ravana—who also offers residential and commercial design services—tells us she plans on adding stationery and giftables, and there's a possibility that clothing and jewelry might join the mix, too.
Studio By Dark is open daily from 10am to 6pm; hours are subject to change.
