Following the anointment of Last Kings designer/rapstar Tyga as creative consultant, L.A. Gear is rolling out its comeback kicks to mini sneakerheads. The iconic footwear brand's iconic light-up soles are getting sized down for babies and children, just in time for back-to-school retail therapy.

Available starting Friday, August 14th, the label is unveiling its Tyga-designed Liquid Gold L.A. Lights style and a new metallic magenta hue, Liquid Berry, in sizes 4 to 7 ($44.99), 11 to 3, ($39.99) and 5 to 10 ($34.99). "Over the years, kids shoes with lights have become a really important and fun feature," L.A. Gear's Lance Jackson tells us. "Given the success of Tyga's Liquid Gold L.A. Lights shoe, we wanted to make this style in boys sizes and a fun Liquid Berry color in girls sizes."

Pick them up online or at select Shiekh Shoes stores in LA, including the retailer's Hollywood, DTLA, and Mid-City locations.
