Yoga-Spin Hybrid YAS Fitness Reopens Its Stylish DTLA Studio

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

After shutting its doors to focus on a major makeover, YAS Fitness has finally relaunched its Downtown Los Angeles center—and its their coolest location yet. In addition to offering its signature yoga-meets-indoor cycling workout (fun fact: YAS Fitness was founded in 2001 by Kimberly Fowler and is the very first fitness program dedicated to the combination of yoga and certified Spinning), the renovated space also hosts a generous retail section and even an exclusive new class.

The new class is called "Advanced Spin", and it offers indoor cycling junkies "the ultimate cardio fat-thrashing experience burning up to 800 calories in 60 minutes," YAS tells us. "Driven by heart-pounding, passionate beats and lead by master instructors, the new advanced indoor cycling class builds internal and external strength while continuing to ensure the safe and fun workouts that made YAS famous."

Regarding pricing, the first class is $10, then single classes are $22 (or $19 for students), a five-class package is $100, a 10-class package is $180, and a 20-class package is $320. There are also a range of package options. Book here.

YAS DTLA is Monday through Thursday from 5:30am to 8:30pm, Friday from 5:30am to 12:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
