Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

BRENTWOOD—Watching a Sex in the City a marathon over the holiday weekend has us in serious envy of SJP's early-aughts era physique (although come to think of it she's still looking pretty great). When we learned the icon got her trademark toned limbs and tight tummy from being a dancer, we were all "Where do we sign up?!" This Wednesday MOORE Dancing (11943 Montana Avenue) offers a great opportunity to sweat your way to a svelte bod—for free! Dancer/Choreographer Lamesha Vine (Lil Jon and Shakira are among the list of artists she's worked with!) will guide guests through CardioJamz, an hour long workout that's both fun and challenging. The class starts at 11:00am and all skill levels are welcome so don't panic if you're a dance novice.

DTLA—When it comes to our city, the saying "image is everything" rings true. But it's not always as superficial as it sounds. No matter your game (entertainment field, technology, design, whatever!), branding yourself has never been so important. Learn how to manage your image and market yourself like a total pro this Tuesday with Nino's POV Session 001: Styling Your Career. Hip-hop branding guru Nino Llanera teams up with style consultant to the stars Brandon Williams (LA Clippers' Matt Barnes is a client) to teach you the tricks of the trade when it comes to making what you wear say the best about you. The first in a four-part series, the class takes place at 8pm in the Reserve Lofts (409 W Olympic Boulevard). Tickets, which will set you back $50, can be purchased here by clicking on the RSVP tab.
