LA's First Saks Off 5th Outlet Opens August 6th With Tons of Festivities

Back in April, we revealed that LA was finally getting its own Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th outlet store, located at a prime corner space at Beverly Connection, right across from the Beverly Center. Covering a generous 27,000 square feet, the designer discount (40-70% off) mecca will feature two floors filled with 800 brands for both men and women, and new arrivals will be delivered weekly.

Although the shop was originally scheduled for a July opening, Saks confirms to us that the debut has been pushed back to Thursday, August 6th at 9:30am. Get there at 8:30am to take advantage of the early bird festivities: $50 gift cards will be handed out every 10 minutes, and one lucky winner will walk away with a $500 shopping spree. Festivities will continue through the weekend, complete with more giveaways,contests, and a live DJ. The first 100 shoppers to arrive at the store each day from Thursday to Sunday will score a chocolate bar, four of which contain golden tickets redeemable for $100 gift cards.

If that's not all, the night before the grand opening, on Wednesday, August 5th Saks Off 5th is teaming up with Who What Wear to host a special preview party from 5pm to 9pm, where guests can experience the new store, enjoy refreshments, meet industry experts, and "be presented with curated looks that capture the latest trends of the season."  You're obviously invited, so see you there!

Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:30am to 9:30pm, and Sunday from 10am to 8pm.
