Pick up any European travel guide and you'll be forewarned of the dangers of pickpockets—who apparently are also keen on people casually shopping for luxury athleisurewear. A trio of sticky-fingered thieves lifted a cash-filled wallet from a Lululemon shopper at Americana at Brand last week, reports Glendale News-Press, and Glendale police have released a video of the stealth pilferage.
The incident happened around 5:30pm last Wednesday, when a team of two women and a man stole about $1,000 in cash from a female shopper's purse. Hide your kids, hide your spouses, but most importantly, watch your wallet the next time you're shopping for new yoga pants.
The two-minute video's up on the Glendale pub's website; anyone with leads on the theft are encouraged to call Glendale PD at (818) 548-4911.
