Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Pinterest fans know all about terrariums, those magical, miniature indoor gardens that live inside glass containers. If you've ever wanted to create one yourself but have always been intimidated by the process, swing by DTLA's Articulum General Store on Sunday, August 9th. From 11am to 1pm, the visually-awesome home decor shop will be hosting a do-it-yourself terrarium workshop.
$65 will get you a seat in the class, along with all essential materials: one glass vase, landscaping fabric, three-four succulents, stones, pebbles, and moss. You can also bring your own crystals or memorable items to give your creation a more personal fee. After class, all participants will receive 10% off to shop inside the store.
Space is limited, so buy tix here.
