Exclusive: Hollywood Walk of Fame's Revamped App Helps You Find Stars

Although Angelenos know this town like the back of their hands, sometimes it's fun to play tourist. If you've ever wanted to identify exactly where your favorite celebrity's Walk of Fame star is, meet Media Mine LLC. In partnership with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the company has just completed a major makeover to the official Hollywood Walk of Fame mobile app, allowing both natives and locals to instantly access the famed row's rich history with the click of a button. 

"Think of it as a GPS for locating your favorite celebrity's star," Media Mine tells us. In addition to its rad "Find a Star" feature that provides users with access to a complete, updated list of stars on Hollywood Boulevard alongside an interactive map, the app also offers ceremony clips of stars like J.Lo and Jennifer Aniston receiving their stars. You can also use the app to unlock discounts at museums, shops, and restaurants, as well as take a trivia quiz to see just how celebrity savvy you really are.
