Sad news for LA's champions of consignment. After 15 years on low-key Magnolia Boulevard, do-gooder resale boutique Lucky You is closing its doors for good this Sunday.

Shop owner Idrea Lippman, who took over Lucky You about three years ago, reveals in an email blast that "after two years of fighting the Department of Water and Power, [I'm] leaving with joy and anticipation of new opportunities. Earlier this year, she several other business owners on the stretch told NBC that delays in an ongoing LADWP pipe replacement project could force their shops to close.

Starting tomorrow, the store's currently unloading its entire inventory—including fixtures and shelving—for up to 75% off (excluding candles). Stop by Friday from 12 to 6pm and Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5pm to bid the store adieu.
