BEVERLY GROVE—Stunning actress Joy Bryant ought to know a thing or two about fashion. The former model—who has appeared in campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren—now has her own clothing line with husband Dave Pope. Their brand, Basic Terrain, is largely inspired by the two's global travels and pieces they've picked up along the way, resulting in garments that feel worldly in a relaxed and effortless way. Beginning Wednesday, Satine (8134 W 3rd Street) will offer an in-store pop-up that includes new styles from the cool collection as well as booty by other brands that's been handpicked by Bryant herself. A celebratory happy hour kicks off the month-long event this Thursday from 5-7pm.

CENTURY CITY—With all the time we've been spending outdoors lately, a hydrating yet lightweight lip color is at the top of our current list of beauty buys. Laura Mercier's Lip Parfait Creamy Colourbalm promises to pamper your pout with a bevy of vitamins and butters while keeping the coverage of a lipstick and the brilliant shine of a gloss. Too good to be true? See for yourself starting this Thursday when Bloomingdale's Westfield Century City (10250 Santa Monica Boulevard) offers shoppers a bonus for buyers. Sample shades from the 12-color collection and when you purchase any three items, get a deluxe-sized oil-free tinted moisturizer and a sample of the brand's best-selling Eyedration eye cream. This promotion lasts through Saturday.
