Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you're still, like, seeking a '90s-inspired kit for that 20th anniversary screening of Clueless in Culver City this weekend, here's a new source for nailing the dress code. Set to launch tomorrow, Brit e-commerce company Metail's new online shop CherWears.com translates the fashionable cult-fave flick into an e-tail therapy experience.
Paying tribute to the teen movie's all-star cast of stylish characters—Cher, Dionne, Amber, and Tai—the shopping site (which has no affiliation with the film), offers a virtual try-it-on feature similar to Ms. Horowitz's cool digital closet. After shoppers enter their height, weight, and measurements, a customizable avatar will model pieces from brands like Topshop, Missguided, Boohoo, ASOS, House of Holland, and more cult-cool British labels.
