Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Following a cool stint at Space15Twenty last fall, art-inspired conceptual e-tailer Fruitmilk will revive its residency this Friday, June 5th.

Running through July 5th, the pop-up shop is titled "PAR~" and will offer an "experimental, gallery-based retail experience," the brand's founders Kelynn Smith (product developer) and Pauline Shaw (artist) explain. "The exhibition oscillates between a stark gallery setting and a volumetric, layered environment. Precise, exaggerated geometric shapes are juxtaposed with organic sculptural and sensorial forms, with designs and art objects interwoven.

Expect new works from local artists like BFGF, Rose La Grua, and Mercado Sagrado alum Laura Schoolr. Talents from elsewhere (Primecut from Portland and Manal Kara from Chicago) will also be in the mix, and prices will range from $20 to $300. See below for the pop's pretty flyer, and stop by the opening party Friday from 7pm to 10pm!
