After more than two decades of bringing live music and delicious brunches to Sunset Boulevard, House of Blues is officially packing up its iconic digs on Friday, August 7th.
Our sister site Curbed LA reports that the tin-covered venue will be replaced by the Sunset Time project from developer Combined Properties, which will comprise of "149 hotel rooms, 40 condos, rental apartments 'for low- and moderate-income people,'" 6,000 square feet of digital billboards, a full-on nightclub, and—wait for it—35,000 square feet of retail space. Construction is expected to begin late 2015.
