Personal style blogs are a dime a dozen these days, which is why OG blogstars are smart to cash in on their now-veteran brands. Take, for instance, Cupcakes & Cashmere's Emily Schuman, who's parlayed her ever-pinnable lifestyle into offline products by penning books, designing for big-name brands, and now, unleashing her very own clothing line.
As WWD reveals, the local blogger is teaming with contemporary LA label BB Dakota for a 40-piece fall collection. Priced from $80 to $450, the C&C-branded range was inspired by LA's mix of urban and edgy, San Francisco's polished prep, and Malibu's relaxed and trendy vibes, notes Schuman on her blog. As expected, key pieces include Em staples: think chambray button-downs, army-inspired jacket, asymmetrical leather jackets, and plenty of basics.
The line's slated to hit Nordstrom stores and Shopbop.com Monday, July 6th.
