Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

WEST HOLLYWOOD—At least for the moment, it seems like we might be past the usual bout of June Gloom and that's getting us psyched for all the upcoming summer fiestas. If you're not quite set with your necessities for sun-soaking or poolside frolicking, sexy swimwear company Frankie's Bikinis is partnering with LA-made accessories brand Emi Jay for a pop-up this weekend that's sure to get you straight. Friday and Saturday from 11am-5pm, the temporary Melrose Place space (8467 Melrose Place) will offer a iced tea and braid bars as well as a cool 20% off bikinis, tees, and hair ties. Designers for both labels will also be on hand to greet customers.

ATWATER VILLAGE—"Good taste" might be one way to describe Monica and Justin Boyes after you've perused the selections within their cool indie boutique Individual Medley (3176 Glendale Blvd). It is also—quite literally—a way to describe the tasty food stylings of one of LA's premiere catering companies, Heirloom LA. That said it makes sense for the two to pair up for the launch of HLA's new blog, Yolk and Flour. This Thursday from 6-8pm, as you shop new selections like brass jewelry and ceramics by Helen Levi and cozy organic cotton undies by Pansy, celebrate the new blog with snacks as yummy as they are lovely, and Heirloom's signature Hard Citrus Cider.

LOS FELIZ—Recently we gave you the scoop on the new monthly bazaar at the Autry Museum. Odd Nights at the Autry (4700 Western Heritage Way), which features 100 vendors, food trucks, a bar, and even kid's activities, is back this Friday. From 6-11pm, shop artisanal crafts and vintage finds, listen to live music, grab a cocktail, and enjoy free—yes FREE!—parking. Entrance to the event, located across from the LA Zoo, is also gratis.

SANTA MONICA—With Father's Day this Sunday, the focus is squarely on dads this weekend. One place to shop gifts for the occasion is Bloomingdale's at Santa Monica Place (315 Colorado Avenue), where California menswear brand CWST is offering a special event with a fantastic cause. This Saturday from 5-8pm, in addition to shopping the line of luxe-casual gear, you can benefit Good City Mentors with 10% off any purchase going to the organization, which partners at-risk youth with positive male mentors. The in-store event will also offer live music and sips for patrons who pop by.
