Yet another iconic overseas brand is seeing LA's retail potential. Two years after making its Stateside debut in New York, London-based eyewear brand Cutler & Gross is opening its first West Coast flagship in West Hollywood this summer.
Landing at the buzzing intersection of Melrose Avenue and La Cienega, the 1,350-square-foot boutique will be located next door to L'Agent and around the corner from Alfred and soon-to-be reality stars Cycle House. As far as merch, the store will offer the legendary brand's full range of retro European-inspired eyewear, including opticals, technicolor statement sunnies, and vintage styles from the vault ($495 and up). There'll also be a bespoke frames bar, where shoppers can customize their own stylish specs.
