Matisse's Three-Day Warehouse Sale is Filled With Fest-Ready Booties & More

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

First things first: don't expect any Kate Bosworth-designed pairs at Matisse's warehouse sale. However, there are still plenty of other fest-ready styles that are worth the trek to El Segundo, where the edgy-boho footwear brand's three-day blowout kicked off an hour ago.

Early bird bargain hunters were already getting started when we rolled up a little after 11am, but staff tells us that inventory will be replenished. There's a small section with some recent styles for $100 or less; otherwise, expect $65-and-under sandals, flats, booties, and tall boots from Matisse and its lower-priced Coconuts line from spring 2014 and prior seasons. Everything's organized in boxes by size (6 to 10, including half-sizes), so be prepared to do some digging.

Note that there's an array of seating for trying on the goods, but there are no shopping bags available, so bring some totes if you plan on leaving with a big haul. Cash, credit, and checks are accepted; the sale's happening 'til 6pm today, tomorrow from 12 to 6pm, and Saturday 10am to 2pm.
