Eight Technicolor Window Makeovers at La Cienega Design Quarter's Legends Week

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Not to get, like, deep or anything, but if eyes are like windows to the soul, then our retail scene's fabulous panes showcase the blood and sweat (and maybe even tears) of LA's best window dressers and interior decorators. Starting today, you can see this fantastical art form in next-level display as part of La Cienega Design Quarter's seventh annual Legends Week, which kicks off today.

In addition to toasting mind-blowing art, culture, and design (peep the inspiring itinerary here), the three-day fest features over 65 storefronts transformed by rising and established interior design masterminds. This year's theme is "Where Muses Dwell," which includes windows inspired by Chanel and YSL, art icon Andy Warhol, Audrey Hepburn, indie hero filmmaker Wes Anderson, and even Karl Lagerfield's cat, Choupette, among others.

Take a peek at a few of the inventive displays above and swing by LCDQ now through Friday to see them all.
