SILVERLAKE—Jewelry and perfume are gift options for mom (or whoever you are celebrating!) that will never go out of style. And when those particular gifts are from Silverlake's cool, contemporary lifestyle boutique Mohawk General Store (4011 West Sunset Blvd), they're sure to please anyone who shares our love of modern luxe. That said, you can check out some of the shop's latest options of each with a trunk show Wednesday from 6-9pm. Designers of handcrafted jewelry line Gabriela Artigas and founders of fragrance brand Regime des Fleurs will be present for the event where attendees can sip champagne and explore the entire collection of elegantly minimal jewelry inspired by the designers' roots in Mexico City, and the sexy, sophisticated scents — both of which were created right here in Los Angeles.

GLENDALE—May is Dress Month for sexy womenswear line Marciano. Given that they've also recently released their tropical-inspired Hot House Hibiscus line, the brand has a lot to be excited about. This Thursday from 6-9pm, guests to the Americana (889 Americana Way) location can get get in on the celebration with a preview event in honor of both. Partnered with W Magazine, the store has brought in top fashion bloggers Marianna Hewitt of La La Mer, Kaitlynn Carter of The Western Wild, Marta Pozzan of It's Super Fashion, and Racquel Natasha of Racquel Natasha as hostesses, and will be offering shoppers complimentary bubbles and sweets. Members of their VIP program M Loyalty (as well as those who sign up during the event) will earn triple points on their loot as well as a special gift with purchase of $200 or more.

MONTEBELLO—Beat the Sunday Mother's Day madness by treating your favorite lady to a day of pampering and entertainment early. The Shops at Montebello (2134 Montebello Town Center) provides a perfect opportunity to do just that this Friday at "Indulge, Fashion + Fun for Moms" where from 5-7pm in Center Court, moms will experience a fashion show featuring looks for all sizes by Torrid, Lane Bryant, and Charlotte Russe, beautify at the pampering stations which include henna tattooing from Ziba Beauty and mini makeovers from Sephora, nibble sweets and sip drinks in the Social Media lounge, sample bites from local eateries, receive special gifts with purchases, and enter to win one of several amazing prizes!
