The Sweat Shoppe's Hot Bikes Are Pedaling Into Toluca Lake

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Toluca Lake's sweat scene will soon score some major hotness from an RFC fave. North Hollywood's The Sweat Shoppe, home of face-melting indoor cycling workouts led by even hotter trainers, is pedaling into a new Valley nabe this summer.

Per the fitness studio, it's relocating to a two-story, 3,800-square-foot space that'll be decked out with 50 new stationary bikes, showers, lockers, massage rooms (!), a dedicated parking lot (!!), a retail area, and more amenity upgrades; a potential juice bar is also being discussed. Staff at the NoHo location tell us that Sweat Shoppe 2.0 will be landing near Riverside Drive and Cahuenga Boulevard.

In the meantime, the sweat sanctuary is putting fitness fiends to the test with 30 days of unlimited rides for $300 as part of its summer challenge. Registration ends Saturday; book your bike here and stay tuned for the grand reopening date.
