Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Last year we introduced you to Racked Young Guns nominee Amanda Calder, who runs an incredibly cool, made-in-LA knitwear line called Calder Blake. With early supporters like cult-favorite director Sofia Coppola (the line was launched after Coppola asked her pal Amanda to design the perfect tee) and Brady Cunningham of TenOverSix, it's no surprise that local cool girls have been begging for a Calder Blake brick-and-mortar to grace our city. Now, day has finally arrived.

Next Wednesday, June 3rd, Calder Blake will officially debut its new studio/store at 11708 Washington Place, which will feature all of the brand's exquisitely-crafted collections. Additionally, Blake tells us that the space will host "a curated selection of gifts and items that support the lifestyle of the brand,  such as Victoria Morris Pottery, Earth TU Face Beauty products, Golda (essences made in Topanga Canyon), a selection of flower stems from Silver Lake Flowers (local 'slow flowers') to pick up on your way home or as a gift on your way to a dinner."

There's more: Calder Blake LA will also display for-sale art, the first exhibition being a selection of stunning landscape photos from Blake's friend, photographer Todd Cole.

Calder Blake will be open daily from 12pm to 5pm.
