In honor of its namesake creator's 45th birthday (happy belated!), colorful Canadian shoe brand Fluevog officially stepped onto Abbot Kinney last Thursday with its 20th footwear store. Located next door to Velvet, the company took over Pamela Barish's vacated space and is just a few steps from fellow statement-maker Illesteva's specs shop.

Offering designer John Fluevog's signature sculptural heels, scalloped flats, edgy boots, oxfords, and more for women and men, the boutique also stocks luxe leather bags and limited-edition pairs exclusive to the Venice outpost. See a few of the brand's inventive steppers and explore more inside Fluevog's second LA outpost in the gallery above.
