Uniqlo Los Cerritos Center Opens This Friday With Major Giveaways

Nearly one year after announcing its plans to host a Uniqlo store as part of its $40 million revamp, Los Cerritos Center will finally welcome the Japanese fast-fashion retailer onto its whopping 130,000-square-foot fortress this Friday, May 22nd at 10am sharp.

Similar to Uniqlo's well-hyped Cali launches at South Coast Plaza and Beverly Center, opening festivities will be action-packed. A brand rep tells us that from May 22nd through May 24th, "shoppers are invited to visit the East Court from 12-5 pm, to spin-to-win a Uniqlo wheel for a chance to win Uniqlo Los Cerritos Center gift cards and Hi-Chew candy. As well, the first 200 customers in line at the new store each day will receive a free Uniqlo tote bag." And here's an incentive to stay in town over Memorial Day weekend: on Saturday, May 23rd, the first 102 Uniqlo tote bags will be filled with prizes courtesy of iHeartRadio. There will also be a DJ at the store from 12-2pm.

Uniqlo Los Cerritos Center will be located on Level 1; it will be open Monday through Friday from 10am to 9pm, Saturday from 10am to 8pm, and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
