What's crazier than a convention of feline superfans or even a catfé? A food truck that serves confections adorned with the face of a little girl that looks like a cat. Next week, the infamous Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is parking at Irvine Spectrum as part of its Cali mall tour. Joy!

Happening Saturday, May 23rd from 10am to 9pm at the OC shopping center's ferris wheel, the cute cafe on wheels—which debuted at Hello Kitty Con last fall—will be serving pastries, doughnuts, macarons, mini cakes, and more treats inspired by the 40-year-old non-cat. In addition to the sweets menu, the truck will offer exclusive merch and "interactive attractions" for Sanriophiles. According to the event's Facebook page, about 2,000 other Hello Kitty die-hards will be lining up for the experience, so a tent and camping chair might not be bad ideas.

And ICYMI, a brick-and-mortar Hello Kitty Cafe is expected to grace SoCal this year. No word yet on its exact coordinates, but it's expected to open in Orange County "in late 2015."
