BEVERLY HILLS—Accessories designer Kendall Conrad is a California girl through and through and that's exactly what we love about her. Conrad's latest styles of bags, sandals, and jewelry prove no exception; sumptuous suede and leather, neutral tones, and easy shapes with a sexy nod to the 70's give all the pieces that trademark effortless-luxe sensibility. Check out the entire range of the collection this Friday and Saturday from 12-5pm on Barneys' (9570 Wilshire Bvd) third floor where Conrad will be on hand for a trunk show to share with shoppers some of her favorite pieces and how to wear them this summer.

HISTORIC CORE—It was love at first sight for us at last weekend's Unique LA event when we first encountered Amina Mucciolo of Studio Mucci. Her insanely pink booth with overloaded with candy, unicorns, balloons, and of course the design company's signature fringe banners. This Thursday from 4-6pm at Urban Outfitters (810 S Broadway St) in DTLA's Historic Core, Mucciolo herself will get the crafting party started with a DYI workshop on how to create your own version of the festive mainstay. Cocktails and sugary treats will also sweeten the deal.
