Laser surgery isn't the only thing that Kim Kardashian spends big money on. She and Kanye West are also specifically focused on maintaining the well-manicured, well-watered lawn of their Hidden Hills home, and neighbors are pretty pissed about it, considering that we're in the midst of a drought.

Our sister site Curbed LA notes that "the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District provides water for wealthy celebrity havens to the northwest of Los Angeles, including Hidden Hills and Calabasas, and as a heavy water user, new state mandates say they're supposed to cut their usage by 36 percent starting next month." Since a huge percentage of water is used to maintain Kimye's and other celeb's lawns, folks in the area have resorted to drought-shaming these famous residents.

"The Kardashian flowers and hedges are right in our face. It's disgusting. You walk by and you can smell the freshness," one neighbor scoffs to Page Six. The horror!

Kimye may be on their way to downplaying their green thumbs, however, because here's what a rep had to say: "Kim takes this drought seriously and has made some amendments to the property [since buying it]. She has no problem letting her grass go brown." Oh, good.
