This is BIG, people. After noticing new construction work taking place at Beverly Connection in the space formerly occupied by The Corner Bakery, an eagle-eyed tipster did some further investigating for us and discovered that a Saks Off Fifth outlet store is moving in. If that's not exciting enough, the Saks Fifth Avenue offshoot will be two stories, also nabbing the old DB Shoes location.
Although the legendary department store has yet to confirm that its first LA outlet will live here, the below updated directory says it all. (Compare it to Beverly Connection's current directory and you'll see that both spaces are listed as C 240.) This coupled with that existing Nordstrom Rack tells us that BC is about to become our city's go-to for designer discounts.
Although there are five Saks Off Fifth outlets in California, the closest is all the way in Orange, so this potential opening will definitely be convenient—and pretty dangerous for our wallets.
