We never thought we'd say this, but Tyga is shaping up to be quite the fashion powerhouse. Following the opening of his Last Kings boutique on Melrose last year, the 25-year-old multi-platinum recording artist (and rumored Kylie Jenner beau) has just partnered with L.A. Gear to become their creative consultant and revive the legendary sneaker brand.
The first comeback shoe is the limited-edition "Liquid Gold L.A. Gear Lights by Tyga" sneaker, which go for $120 and can be purchased online or exclusively at Sheikh Shoe's Hollywood location. And in case you're wondering: yes, the soles actually light up!
"Working with L.A. Gear is a chance to do something different from the pack," Tyga tells us. "It's an iconic brand that represents the city I'm from. I'm real excited for what we are about to do."
