South Coast Plaza loves a fashionable facelift. As promised, Chanel's redesigned boutique debuted yesterday at the upscale shopping center, offering its statement-making spring/summer collections in a very King Triton-approved setting.
Dreamed up by edgy architect Peter Marino, the 9,000-square-foot space is decked out in ocean-inspired hues, gold-bedecked walls, and pearly-white finishes. The boutique also features installations by contemporary abstract artist Nancy Lorenz, furniture by by French artist Ingrid Donat, works by artists Gregor Hildebrandt, Anthony Pearson, Chris Succo, and Michael Wilkinson.
In addition to showcasing the luxury French fashion house's ready-to-wear apparel and footwear, the store offers two dedicated accessories rooms filled with handbags, jewelry, and sunglasses. The space also exclusively launches with the brand's new Mademoiselle Privé Camélia watch and more timepieces from its Haute Horlogerie collection.

Chanel at South Coast Plaza is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 9pm, Saturday from 10am to 8pm, and Sunday from 11am to 6:30pm.
