Three years ago, we partied at the gorgeous Hancock Park home of an adorable little girl named Kiernan Shipka, who was deep into her role as Sally Draper on the hit AMC series Mad Men. Still adorable but not quite little anymore, we reunited with the talented teen last night at a starry soirée for British designer Mary Katrantzou's bag collab with UK e-tailer MatchesFashion.com.
Hosted by MatchesFashion.com's Tom and Ruth Chapman (it's their first trip to LA!), the event was also attended by It girls like Community's Gillian Jacobs and our current girl crush Caroline Vreeland, who couldn't resist posing with one of Katrantzou's limited-edition A-to-Z totes. (Fun fact: Only 20 of each tote bag were made of each letter and they retail for a cool $1,070 each.)
This bag isn't from the collab, but it's just as cool.
Back to Shipka. A longtime British fashion fan, the star rolled up in the coolest "K" bag by Katrantzou, which inspired us to ask her if that was her favorite letter of the alphabet, sticking to the night's theme. "Actually, it's not!" She noted. "My favorite is 'Z' because it's quirky and unique, and only a few words start with that letter."
To all the Zoes and Zacks of the world, you've got a fan. Shop the exclusive Mary Katrantzou x MatchesFashion.com tote bag here starting tomorrow, and catch the final episodes of Shipka's Mad Men on AMC every Sunday.
