Beauty Week may be over, but that doesn't mean that LA isn't still in a perfecting state of mind. The latest beautification station to open is BeautyBalm—a makeup studio, facial spa, and beauty retail boutique on Melrose.
In addition to offering a makeup application, brow and lash grooming, facials, and a hand-selected range of products from favorites like Kevyn Aucoin and Caudalie, BeautyBalm also offers a special "Brush Up On Your Beauty Skills" session ($100), where clients work directly with makeup artists to learn makeup application and tricks of the trade from their beauty experts. They also host a "Make Over Your Makeup Bag" session ($120) where clients bring in their own makeup bags and collab with BeautyBalm's artists to decide what to keep or toss. This is followed by a makeup application. Pretty sweet, right?
Check out BeautyBalm's full service menu here and stop by Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 7pm, Saturday from 10am to 6pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. Closed Mondays.
