Now that Boardwalk Empire has ended and Ben-Hur is almost wrapped filming, British actor Jack Huston clearly wants to step away from playing period pieces to take on a more modern role, such as eyewear designer.
A self-proclaimed sunglass superfan, Anjelica Huston's nephew has teamed up with LA's own Oliver Peoples, WWD reports. "They approached me about collaborating on a frame and I was like, 'Are you kidding? That sounds awesome,'" he tells the fashion trade journal. Huston's OP sunnies will feature four frame colors with very unique names: Ebonywood, Raintree, Cocobolo, and simply Black. Styles will set you back $475 a pop and also debut the eyewear brand's new VFX Plus lenses, which "keep eyes cool and less strained than with typical lenses."
Although the collection launches on OliverPeoples.com next Monday, Huston fans who want to touch and feel the shades before purchasing can shop them at OP boutiques at the end of the month.
