Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

This is such a bummer. We've just received word that Flamingo Vintage, a must-stop on our annual retro fashion hit list, will officially close its Downtown LA doors on Wednesday, April 22nd. To give fans something to remember them by (and to clean out inventory, of course), the colorful boutique is currently hosting a huge storewide sale, offering 50-70% off.

Fingers crossed that the folks behind Flamingo open an online store so we can continuing fawning over their hand-picked, psychedelic-printed '60s mini dresses forever.
