Really? Los Angeles Named the Laziest City in California

This month's Racked Fit Club <a href="http://la.racked.com/2015/3/5/8153939/racked-fit-club-eater-recap#4685004">event</a> with Handstand App.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Experience-driven global marketplace Eventbrite recently released The United States of Events, which is a nationwide report with data on how people choose to spend their free time, city by city. Although LA didn't score the top spot for any of the categories, we're #2 in the Arts & Fashion events  (following New York), #6 for Food & Drink events, and #6 for Live Music & Concerts.

One category we fell shockingly short on was Fitness, where we ranked at #10. We're apparently the least active in California, trailing San Francisco (who scored the #1 spot), San Diego (#2), and San Jose (#4).

Considering that our city is home crazy-fit celebrities and the hottest trainers on the West we find this report to be pretty random. We'll just have to put together even more epic Racked Fit Club events to boost are ranking, right?
