In case you missed it, a few days ago notoriously private actress (and mother to flawless Ryan Gosling's first born) Eva Mendes shared not one but two Instagram salutes to an LA fashion blogger's unique style.

The first post was a cropped image of a cool girl in a turban, sunglasses, and statement necklace with a simple caption: "Instead of 'no pants subway day' can we please have a dress like this girl day?" After receiving tons of comments calling out who the girl was, she followed up that 'gram with a larger image of the look, adding "Dang insta, you're fast. Mystery woman revealed! @karla_deras. Karla, You're my hero. Keep up the good fight. Here's the full picture of her outfit. Because it's worth it."

Although Karla Deras of Karla's Closet has been in the blogging game for years, she's far less social and collab-happy as her fellow digitally-inclined peers, likely by choice. Save for an ongoing eLuxe jewelry line and OpenSky partnership a few years ago, Deras is simply too cool for school to take every opportunity that lands in her lap. She hasn't even regrammed Mendes's rare kudos, so what does that tell you?
