Nasty Gal is set to unveil their second-ever standalone boutique in Santa Monica today. At 6,500 square feet, it's the cult-favorite retailer's largest store to date, offering eye candy overdrive via mirror glass fitting rooms, a denim bar, a shoe salon, and, as seen above, that central cage-like gathering area that architect and designer Rafael de Cárdenas promised. Team NG is celebrating the debut all weekend long; see below for the festivities.
Opening weekend hours are Friday from 12pm to 12am (yup, midnight!), Saturday from 10am to 11pm, and Sunday from 11am to 9pm. Nasty Gal tells us that the first 150 shoppers to the store on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will receive limited edition Nasty Gal Santa Monica crop tops. Attendees will have the chance to try their luck at scratch-off promo cards, take photos in an in-store GIF booth by PHHHOTO, enjoy complimentary offerings from Baked By Melissa and listen to music sets by DJ Brace Face and Dorothy. Also, on Friday and Saturday, founder Sophia Amoruso will be making appearances to interact with the line, host a ribbon cutting ceremony, sit for an in-store book signing, and take photos with fans.
Thanks to the good old 'gram, a Nasty Gal employee has revealed a snap inside the highly-anticipated shop. We hear that photos alone don't do the "Nasty Galaxy" justice, so you'll definitely want to swing by.
