Meanwhile in Sin City, a new on-the-strip retail experience has arrived called the Grand Bazaar Shops. Located adjacent to Bally's Las Vegas, the project led by Juno Property Group features more than 120 shops, including exclusive first-to-market brands and unique international retailers, including Swarovski, UGG, Swatch, Superdry, Havaianas, and LA's own TOMS.
A Juno spokesperson tells us that the space was inspired by "world-renowned markets such as Istanbul's Grand Bazaar and London's Portobello Road, and newer examples such as New York City's Grand Central Terminal and San Francisco's Ferry Building." If you came to Vegas for the flashing lights, central to the Bazaar is a massive Swarovski Crystal Starburst, tricked out with lights and colors to lead the area''s nightly LED spectacle. The 14-foot-diameter sparkling sphere is composed of 924 custom-cut Swarovski crystals and more than 1,800 points of light. Only in Vegas.
