As demonstrated at places like Atwater Village's Potted, Echo Park's Hot Cactus and Slow Matter, and Silver Lake's The Plant Provocateur, unique plant life is certainly a thing in LA right now. Adding to our green-thumb-driven hit list is Little Shop of Flowers, a Tokyo-based seasonal flower sanctuary that just popped up in Glendale.
Located at Adam Silverman Studio, Yukari Iki's temporary boutique called "Record" offers hand-picked exotic florals, artistic vases, Japanese-designed housewares, teas and treats. There are also a series of unique workshops, include next Saturday's "Japanese Sweets Wagashi" lesson ($30) at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm.
Stop by Little Shop of Flowers this week to get a major head start on Mother's Day gifts.
