If you're a fan of the otherworldly fashion featured at Skingraft and the zoological oddities found at Necromance, meet MadeWorn. Located near the intersection of Melrose and Fairfax, the 12,000-square-foot, taxidermy-ridden compound hosts designer-to-the-stars Blaine Halvorson's "ultra-distressed" clothing, hand-cobbled shoes, and fine art. Brad Pitt, Kanye West, and Channing Tatum are all superfans of Halvorson's vintage vision.
"It's a difficult place to explain," Halvorson tells Style.com of his by-appointment-only headquarters. "I usually start by telling people about the 12-foot giraffe." He adds that "MadeWorn represents a new way of seeing things in a totally bespoke way. It's about bringing back an intimacy with clientele, like what Tommy Perse did at Maxfield 30 years ago. He set the foundation for that."
