Back in February, we announced that Zimmermann was set to take over Connoisseur Antiques’s Melrose Place space to unveil a new West Coast flagship. Although the Australian ready-to-wear and swimwear label was expected to open the shop in June or July, the real estate firm behind the deal, Runyon Group, reveals that the boutique will launch this fall and "will join existing U.S. locations in Soho and East Hampton in NYC."
Missing from that store roster is Zimmermann's existing spot on Robertson Boulevard, which must mean that Melrose Place will officially replace it. This also means that Robertson is losing yet another tenant, following menswear boutique Gregory's exit.
Update (March 20th): Zimmermann tells us that no official decision has been made regarding the Zimmermann Robertson store. As of now, it will be staying open.
