If noteworthy things happen in threes, could this be the beginning of an Abbot Kinney exodus? After 11 years on the buzzy shopping stretch, edgy bohemian designer Pamela Barish debuted her relocated Venice boutique last Saturday. The shop is sandwiched between fellow Abbot Kinney expats Mona Moore and fine jewelry designer Liseanne Frankfurt on Main Street, just a few blocks from Planet Blue and across the Santa Monica border from stylish snooze promoters Muji and Lazybones.

Barish tells us that she, Frankfurt, and Mona Moore owner Lisa Bush wanted to open side-by-side shops in a new nabe for some time; as Bush mentioned, the trio jumped on the chance to move into Obsolete's space when the insider-faved home decor haven decamped for Culver City. In addition to her new spring line of luxe LBDs, floral cocktail gowns, pretty pink dresses, and more, Barish also offers avant-garde scents from fragrance fave Strange Invisible perfumes.

Pamela Barish is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm; closed Monday and Sunday.
