MCM's Luxe Leather Logo Backpacks Are Coming to LA

Label lovers who've yet to experience logo overload after Louis Vuitton's artsy fashion gallery, get excited. German luxury accessories brand MCM plans to bring its baller backpacks and more logo-happy merch to LA. WWD notes that the international brand is planning its Stateside expansion, which will include shops in SF, Las Vegas, Chicago, Houston, Honolulu, and Miami. The brand just unveiled its first NY outpost, which will set the trend for the brand's future openings, international CEO Paolo Fontanelli told the trade pub last summer.

Given that every nabe is fair game for stylish imports, we're wondering whether MCM will head to low-key shopping stretches like Beverly Boulevard (where LA-led, Milan-bred Moschino set up shop) or to luxe nabes like newly-revived Rodeo Drive and buzzing North Beverly Drive (new home to Diptyque, Cos, and soon, KLS).
