Kinfolk Studios's Bike-Friendly Shop & Bar in DTLA Delayed

LA will have to wait a hot minute before Kinfolk brings its cool menswear shop/bicycle boutique/bar to Downtown's buzzing Broadway. After pushing its fall 2014 opening to this spring, the New York-based lifestyle brand (no relation to the boho modern mag of the same name) has pressed the pause button on its West Coast flagship.

Per Kinfolk communications director Felipe Delerme, the brand's 10,000-square-foot LA outpost "is on hold." Located below Acne Studios in the legendary Eastern Columbia building, the massive basement space "[does] not have an expected completion date, [but] we're still hoping to see the project through." He adds that its "very unlikely" that Kinfolk LA will open this year, but that it's "not impossible." Stay tuned for more.
