Edgy Aussie Salon Ziggy's Is Bringing Cool Cuts & Events to Culver City

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The Aussies have already conquered LA's style scene, and now they're eyeing our beauty routine. Sydney-groomed barbershop and salon Ziggy's is opening its first Stateside location in Culver City this spring, and we're told it'll be much more than your average high-end hair spot.

Landing at retail and resto complex Culver Crossroads, the 2,000-square-foot salon will mirror the artsy-cool vibes of the O.G. Oz outpost and will boast a massive mural, a DJ booth, and an art gallery space/event venue. As far as the menu, expect luxe cuts (men's chops start at $27, women's cuts start at $65), coloring, and a blowout bar ($35 and up). The salon's manager tells us that Ziggy's will be open for business next Sunday, March 7th; stay tuned for more.
