Inspired by the success of its First Fridays sale in Altadena every month, Hughes Estate Sales is bringing the same deals to Downtown. Arts District shoppers should cancel all plans the third Friday of every month to explore Hughes's 8,000-square-foot showroom (458 South Alameda) filled with unique home decor discounts.
Open free to the public for three days from 10am to 4pm each month (the last one was this past weekend), the Downtown sale streamlines the estate sale experience by hosting multiple bargains under one roof. And the goods cater to more than just interiors addicts looking for vintage furniture and lighting; also up for grabs is a curated selection of art, jewelry, and even cars.
Downtown Muse adds that "Hughes also anonymously hosts the estates of celebrities who don't want to host sales in their private homes," so there's that!
