Last year, we named Barnsdall Art Park's legendary Hollyhock House one of LA most picturesque places to take engagement photos. Although the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed property was in the midst of a three-year closing for renovations then, this month the architectural masterpiece is set to reopen—and you're invited to view the highly-anticipated changes.
We hear that Hollyhock has been renovated and restored to its former glory, just in time for Valentine's Day. To mark the occasion, on February 13th there will be a special ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Eric Garcetti and other City Officials, followed by a 24-hour public opening from 4pm to 4pm on February 14th. During the public event, guests are invited to explore the House to take selfies, pop the question, or even bust out some impromptu engagement photos (sans camera equipment, of course).
