Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Last year, we introduced you to Cornetti, an emerging footwear label known for its comfortable, colorful sandals meticulously handcrafted in Italy. Our latest international sole-saving addiction is Sabah, known for its leather slip-on shoes made-to-order by cobblers in southeast Turkey. Lucky for us, the label's is making its first West Coast stop in LA this Saturday, February 21st.

Temporarily residing inside RTH Shop in West Hollywood, the "Sabah Salon" will welcome locals with an open house and fitting hosted by the brand's founder Mickey Ashmore (aka "The Sabah Dealer") and RTF owner René Holguin from 1pm to 5pm that day. After that, men and women can swing by to try on Sabah shoes in a variety of sizes, as well as select their color choice via leather swatches, then place an order right there, which will be made in Gaziantep, Turkey and sent directly to the customer.
