When Moods of Norway moved its Robertson Boulevard location to Melrose Avenue back in 2013, co-founder co-founder Stefan Dahlkvist explained that "many of the trendy brands have left Robertson and it's predominantly a women's street now." Two years later, it's still a woman's world on the once-bustling shopping stretch, which is why indie menswear boutique Gregory's has decided not to renew its lease.
The multi-brand boutique's director of menswear (and former Kitson buyer) Jay Andrews tells California Apparel News that they're currently "scouting locations for another Los Angeles area shop" but will continue to run a Gregory's shop-in-shop at Fred Segal on Melrose.
