Rebecca Minkoff's Melrose Shop is Still Happening

Last August, we revealed that Cali-raised designer Rebecca Minkoff was set to take over Ed Hardy General Store's prime Melrose corner space to replace her existing shop-in-shop on Hollywood. Although we still don't have an opening date, the good news is that it's not a fluke.

A nugget of news buried in this WWD piece on Minkoff's new Chicago store notes that her LA location is, indeed, "under construction." A quick drive-by plywood check confirms the progress, as windows are currently boarded up. Promising!
