FAIRFAX—Puppies and candy: need we say more? Sugar wonderland Dylan's Candy Bar (6333 W 3rd street) hosts a beneficial bash this Tuesday as the company's founder and CEO Dylan Lauren launches her new philanthropy, Dylan's Candy Barn, which supports animal welfare organizations. Lauren herself will be on-hand for the 6-9pm function which includes a celebrity guest list, cocktails and candy, auctions and raffles with epic prizes, and even on-site adoption opportunities. The $150 ticket, which can be purchased here, will aid adoption and rescue efforts including Puppies & Parties, Friends of Finn, and Karma Rescue.
BEVERLY HILLS—It's hard to imagine chic nail salon Olive & June (430 N Canon Drive) being a prettier place to primp and pamper, but when the space brings in a few of its fashionable friends for a Holiday Market this Tuesday, that's exactly what it's going to be. Heather Taylor Home, Beatrice Valenzuela, Clare V., Donni Charm, and Sugar Paper pop-in to offer guests a prime gift shopping experience while Juice Served Here, Valleybrink Road, and Sweet Laurel Bakery bring by bites, sips, and sweets. The soiree takes place from 5-8pm.
BEVERLY HILLS—We are so down to learn all the tips on how French girls make everything look so damn cool, which is why we'll be sure to be at Club Monaco (401 N Beverly Drive) this Tuesday evening when blogger/illustrator/style crush Garance Dore will make an appearance (with equally effortless and crush-worthy Rashida Jones) for a chit-chat and book signing to support her newly released text, Love Style Life. Starting at 5:45pm, you can hear the girls discuss—well, we think the title says it all, no? Then stay to get a book of your own signed by Gore from 6:15-8:16pm. While you're there, be sure to scope out the store's latest seasonal staples—we're fully lusting.
